February 10 - 14, 2013 - Tipitapa, Nicaragua
Kosmos will be returning to Tipitapa Nicaragua in March to continue our food distribution program. This will be an almost identical trip to previous distributions (see photos of past trips in our album). We will be distributing food and Bibles to the "poorest of the poor." These are adults and children who search the trash dumps daily for food. In order for us to feed them, we need the involvement of a team. We cannot do this alone and must partner together with willing servants here at home. Please join us! This will be a wonderful experience for any age, and is not a strenuous trip. This trip is open to men, women, and youth. The estimated cost for this trip is $630 excluding airfare.
April 13 - 18, 2013 - Tipitapa, Nicaragua
**Same Type Trip as Above July 11 - 18, 2013 - Tipitapa, Nicaragua
This trip will focus on continuing the construction of classrooms at a local church. This trip will involve a moderate to heavy amount of work, while the Spring and Fall trips are easy for any age. Due to the intensity of work, youth and/or individuals who who are not accustomed to physical labor are suggested to apply for one of the food distribution trips. Applicants should be in good physical condition willing to perform manual labor. The cost for this trip is higher then the food distribution projects due to the cost of construction materials, part of which must be absorbed by the missionaries themselves. The exact cost is still being finalized but we estimate the trip will cost to be $950 without airfare. We are in need of persons with construction experience! Please consider joining this team!
November 20-25, 2013 - Tipitapa, Nicaragua
Food Distribution for those who search the trash dumps for food. This trip is similar to the spring trips described above. Men, woman, and children over 12 are welcome to apply.
Tell me more about trip costs
Exact cost is dependent upon plane fare and will be determined once the team roster is finalized. Cost will include meals, lodging, transportation, and international travel/medical insurance. The basic trip is between $600 and $1,000 (excluding airfare). Where does your money go? All your money supports our ministry to the poor. Kosmos has no employees and no wasteful spending. We pride ourselves on transparency and good stewardship. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are an open book. Also, don't let cost scare you from responding. If God wills it, it will happen! Kosmos will help all team members in raising funds for this trip - we want you to experience this!
